Educational literacy is the driving factor for life. In order for us as human beings to learn, we must be able to access learning. Educational literacy is more than just being able to read, write and spell. It is also about being able to interpret, react, articulate, and express one’s thoughts. 

On 1st Tuesday, we share breaking education-related news and legislation.

Health literacy is the degree to which individuals have the ability to find, understand, and use information and services to inform health-related decisions and actions for themselves and others. 

On 2nd Tuesday, we explore health disparities and inequities and share breaking healthcare-related news and legislation.

 Financial literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. Financial literacy is a lifelong journey of learning and maintaining a healthy relationship with our money. 

On 3rd Tuesday, w explore financial-related concepts.  We also learn about economics: the production, consumption, and transfer of wealth. 

 Now more than ever, we as a nation turn our focus to mental health and wellness.  The pandemic exposed and exacerbated mental illness and impacted our ability to become and remain mentally healthy.

On 4th Tuesday, we hear from Mental Health experts, and we focus  on enhancing mental health.  One of the primary resources we share is The Red Sea Rules by Pastor Robert J. Morgan. The same God who led you in will lead you out. Our CEO, Dr. Kentrell Liddell, the host of The Literacy Hour shares that she has always wanted to read this book aloud and share with others 10 God-Given Strategies for Difficult Times.   

Dr. Liddell presents the hottest (most trending) topic related to the tech world, including artificial intelligence, robots, and more, and then facilitates community engagement and discussion.
